Annual general body meeting of ICAS is scheduled to be held at Chennai on 26.09.2010. Fourth Quarterly meeting for calendar year will start at 10 A.M. while AGM will start soon after lunch in the Oorvashi Hall of Hotel Palmrove. Central Management committee members will discuss problems & progress of all the Chapters scattered all over India. More than 200 delegates are expected to join the event.

Indian Council of Astrological Sciences has announced a regular classroom based course ‘Tele Jyotish’ for the purpose of supporting employment to the students desirous of serving with the mobile operators, call centers, digital TV, other electronic media and all other astrological purposes. This course will not only be consisting of old Jyotish Praveen Syllabus but an additional training of Tarot, Fengshui, Internet and Call Centre training. Thus the candidate will be competent enough to tackle every possible query on mobile phones or websites or during their home practices.
During the ICAS top executive committee meeting on 1st August, 2010 at CEO’s International wings Office, Jaipur, ICAS took a major policy decision for a day long class room training in addition to only Sunday based classes in all the major cities of India looking into the demand of Astrologers by the Tele communication world. CEO Mr. Satish Sharma has been assigned to prepare the structural base of the training who decided to launch the training by 20th August, 2010. Mr. Satish Sharma assures that just a Rs. 5000/- course within 2½ monthswill fetch immediate recruitment to the successful trainees. According to sources, telecom sectors need 5000 such astrologers right now.

ICAS, the largest astrology organization of India has decided to hold an important meeting in Jaipur on 1st August 2010. The event has been declared as the closing ceremony of Silver Jubilee Year. Launching of Silver Jubilee celebrations too were held in Jaipur on 8th February last year where record audience witnessed the day long function. The previous day, council had a meeting and astro tourism in village Parashara in the midst of the well known Sariska Tiger Sanctuary in order to pay acknowledgment towards saint Parashar for his great astrology text, the Brihad Parashar Hora Shastra written during Mahabharata regime. Following day on 8th February 2009, ICAS had a glittering presence in Maharana Pratap Auditorium of Pink city Jaipur.
This year too, ICAS is supposed to make strategic decisions for the betterment and expansion of ICAS from the view point of growing importance of astrology in the modern world. “ICAS is set to deploy more and more equipped astrologers to cope with the demand of astrologers from the telecommunication industry. Value added services is a hot subject for mobile operators these days. Electronic media too, could not attract top professionals and experts in the field of astrology, which ICAS alone can provide”, according to astrologer Satish Sharma, CEO International wing and National Vice President, ICAS.
A number of office bearers have consented to be in Jaipur that day. National President A.B. Shukla and Chair Person International Wing Justice Kapoor, Dr. Gayatridevi Vasudeo from Bangalore, V. Narayanan from Chennai, A.V. Sundaram from Hyderabad, Narsingh Alse from Bangalore, Bholanath Shukla from Kanpur have already consented to be in Jaipur.
The meeting is scheduled to be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on 31st July, 2010 at C.E.O. International wing’s headquarters 3 Mahalaxmi Villa, Muhana Road, Opp. V.T. Road, Mansarovar, Jaipur.
Prior to this, Year long silver jubilee celebration will conclude after a seminar by ICAS on 31st July 2010 , 9 AM. To 2 PM. at Maharana Pratap Auditorium, Vidyaashram School, Jaipur.
